- (WICOR) AVID End of the Year Bash Presentation
- As you know, being members of the first AVID graduating class at Mount Si High School is a BIG deal. On the evening of Tuesday, May 28th you will be participating in the first AVID Senior Presentation at our AVID End of the Year Bash. As a class, you will be given 20 minutes to explain to AVID students in grades 7 through 11, their parents, and your teachers what AVID has meant for you these past three years. This will be a group presentation (yes, ALL nine of you together).
- Working in the groups below, brainstorm for 15 minutes any and all ideas you have about what you can do together as a class. Use the large sheets of blank, white paper on the back shelf. Remember: ALL of you need to be actively involved in the presentation.
Team 1: Gabe, Niko, Joe Team 2: Richard, Frankie, Jocelyn Team 3: Sean, Elena, Justin- After 15 minutes, each team will share out their ideas to the rest of the class.
- After Team 1 shares, the other teams ask questions; Team 1 answers and jots down new ideas,
- Then Team 2 shares as above; then Team 3.
- After Team 1 shares, the other teams ask questions; Team 1 answers and jots down new ideas,
- After all three teams have shared, answered questions, and made notes, teams will take 10 minutes to come up with one idea they want to present to be voted on as the AVID 12 presentation.
